Internet marketing know-how

I'm an Internet marketer so if you're looking for a Twitter or blogging strategy, help with traffic generation or conversion, your business set up on Facebook, or someone to write great content, I'm here to help.

Technical know-how

I'm a LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) kinda guy who tends to use open source software (free, mostly). For content management systems (CMS) I'm happiest with Drupal but also know Joomla, Wordpress, OSCommerce and Pixaria.

For blogs I'm familiar with Movable Type and Chyrp.

I can drive various APIs such as Google Maps, Twitter and Facebook. I've developed a Facebook app.

Marketing know-how

I'm strong with branding, not visual branding but brand character because when I'm writing content I need to write to someone. In order to define who that someone is and make them real, I need to know your market. To know your market, I need to know where you fit against your competitors and what your marketing strategy is. If I'm just writing content I'll often do that on the fly, but you know what? If you do it right, it makes your chances of success very much greater. So if you think your business is starting to take more and more effort for smaller returns, maybe it's time to step back and re-visit your marketing strategy. That's also what I do :-)
